Carrier Development Specialist

What We Do - Simply put, we manage the freight movement of Full Truckload Refrigerated Shipments, from origin, to destination within the continental US. We have multiple channels within our organization, to include, - Operations, Account Management, Sales, Business Development, Carrier Development, and Marketing.

Position - Carrier Development Specialist - This position is a very fast paced position with duties that include, - Direct carrier engagement, planning and strategy, account performance on service objectives, account development and growth, carrier rating negotiation and RFP management, carrier negotiations, detainment and growth of business tied to accounts or carriers managed. This position is dynamic, in that you will be in contact with a magnitude of company partners, vendors and clients. This position is well suited for the individual who manages themselves to instill a high level of professionalism, output, as well as confident verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. This position is high performing. Additionally, people who succeed in this position are accustomed to high levels of interpersonal development, accountability, and possess clarity in their career, personal objectives and goals. This position has a graduated development plan that is scalable for continued growth into senior carrier development.
This specific position currently available, is ONLY for an individual that has a background within Transportation Truckload Logistics. Experience is required for this position, as well as carrier facing, networking within a highly engaged, fast pace logistics environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• CSR 4 Years Logistics Experience
• Salesforce
• Truckload or LTL Direct Customer & Carrier Negotiation Experience
• Account Management/Direct Customer Engagement/Performance
• Direct Vendor & Customer Facilitation/Service
• High Level of Interpersonal and Customer Facing Attributes
• High Level of Organization/Time Management & Solution Focused Skill
• Expos/Customer Face Time
• High Level of Written and Verbal Ability in Communication/Influence/Networking

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
